last Weekend for COZY  by Michael McConnell

We are excited to be hosting an exhibit of new work by one of our favorite artists and people, Michael McConnell.  His exhibit COZY is drawing on the act of yarn bombing, an urban display of colorful knitted or crocheted yarn, to establish a relationship between humans and animals and the comfort that brings. The show includes original drawings, paintings and faux taxidermy sculptures. Michael collaborated with knitter Felicity More, in Albuquerque, NM, who helped in physically yarn-bombing his sculpture pieces.

Join us for the artist's reception Saturday, September 13th 5-8pm.
